The UK Governments cybersecurity agency the NCSC has updated its Cybersecurity Assessment Framework (CAF) this week, to reflect the increased threat of cyberattack to UK Critical National Infrastructure (CNI). Making significant changes to remote access, privileged operations, user access levels and the use of multi-factor authentication.

One wonders how the CAF and the Governments proposal to expand its scope of NIS regulations will align (https://lnkd.in/eZN5U6ai) with the EU NIS 2, DORA and U.S cyber regulation.
