Threat actors that appear to be linked to Ukraine have attacked the Russian national Carrier, Aeroflot. Forcing the company to ground flights, at a time when Russians start their holidays.
It would appear that this is no ransomware attack. The attackers have claimed to have destroyed servers belonging to Aeroflot. So one is not sure how long it will take the company to get back up and running.
One should not forget if you can ransom an organisation you can also destroy assets.
