Earlier this month the UK government published its analysis of chronic risks facing the UK. Security, national security and cybersecurity are to risks for the UK, along geopolitics, climate change, biosecurity and our reliance on global supply chains. No Doubt the same risks all countries face.
One likes the UKs statements on cybersecurity. One suspects ransomware attack are not going away, the cyber crime economy has always been more sophisticated than most companies can deal with.
One has watched the level of communications emanating from Germanys BSI over the past month on EU NIS 2. A regulation being implemented to address the same challenges the UK faces. The UK has cyber essentials, waiting on its defensive cyber strategy.
