Tietoevry the Finish IT services company announced it was attacked by a group based on the Akira ransomware, around the 20th January. Affecting several of its customers. Tietoevry is a significant IT services provider in Finland over 50 years. Providing cloud and technology services across the public sector, healthcare, banking and financial services, energy and utilities and automotive industries.

Th company is preparing to restore services to the affected clients.
“We understand that this situation is challenging for the impacted customers, and we are making every effort to ensure that they are kept up to date on the progress being made. We regret the inconvenience caused by this malicious attack on our customers and all those affected by it. Our priority is to continue with bringing our customers services back safely and efficiently”, says Venke Bordal, Head of Tietoevry Tech Services Sweden.
