Looking to test software developed in the UK by Imperial College for military use in China. The paper raises questions over the amount of funding the UK universities have received from sources linked to the Chinese military.
The academic model for recognition has been based upon the amount of academic research and papers you write. Should we be considering the amount of money received to develop product that could have a military use. Much like the U.S, the funding and theft of IP has become a significant issue, least of all when academic funding has been drying up in the UK.
