Whilst COVID 19 has taken its toll on the Global economy cyber has not stood still, with several governments progressing cyber security initiatives. CMMC continues to make its way through Federal Government in 2021, with reports due to the US Armed Services Committee. There have been 2 major SCRM and cyber security executive orders. The Spanish Government has committed ¢â€šÂ¬450M to boost cyber security. The Australian government has introduced a critical infrastructure uplift program. The French have released a cyberattack alert system and the Italians opened a national cybersecurity agency. To name a few.

There is still along way to go to get all nations cyber aware and focused on their national programs. But considering where we were only a few years ago, there is more recognition of the problem today and direction being provided by Nations. Which one hopes will filter down through their public and private sectors.
