A great example of how critical national industries are adapting their cybersecurity posture as US Banking Industry Associations and Finance Institutions update their cybersecurity framework profile, in line with the NIST CSF (https://lnkd.in/ej2nEs3B).
The work is a very comprehensive update to the existing CSF model, aligning it to other industry standards. Adding CSF categories including Governance and dependency management.
Why is the CSF important? It is the standard of choice of CISA and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). That in my opinion are driving cybersecurity oversight and assurance in the US. Creating several industry specific CSF profiles, that can be adopted by Federal Agencies and flowed down into the private sector.
