Thank you Ted Dziekanowski for sharing this, it is well worth a read. In my mind there are 3 countries that are leading the way in cybersecurity standards, the US, Israel and Australia. I’m not measuring cyber incidents here, recent cyberattacks in the US have in my mind proven that market forces are not working. Leading to increased cyber legislation and regulatory enforcement. Few countries could claim to have delivered a cyber defensive strategy or have been good at cybersecurity risk management and implementation.

The Australian ISM is comprehensive. It sets out well thought through and detailed principles and guidelines for cybersecurity and risk management. That can be adopted by other nation states.
