Linked to the announcement on Friday that Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration subcontractors Sol Oriens has been hacked. Invenergy the $ Billion Chicago based clean energy firm said on Friday that it had been hacked by REvil, but that it did ¢â‚¬Å“not intend to pay any ransom¢â‚¬Â.‚  The Chicago-based private company, best known for building big wind and solar farms was investigating an incident.

It highlights the flexibility of the hacking regime being conducted by REvil over the past 6 months. Applying what maybe considered targeted and Ransomware as a Services (RaaS) attacks.
