Thank you John Parmley. We cannot overstate the importance of this Public hearing at so many levels and well worth finding 2.5 hours to watch. A competent performance from the ex-CISO.

One expects the output of this hearing will add to the development of security standards, for the protection of national and international security. It emphasizes the role of the CISO, the importance of the Whistleblower program, the amount and extent of social media’s access to and managing users data and the potential breaches of compliance to federal regulations that may have taken place.

This process may have significant consequences on cybersecurity regulation. It emphasizes the role of the CISO, the role of executives in managing cybersecurity and the role of cybersecurity oversight and assurance in the board room.
