Interesting to see The Institute of Internal Auditors updates to their 3 Line model and ERM.
Aegis Labs has built an ontological, AI assurance/audit platform that evaluates the control design and effectiveness for any audit or assurance program. It aligns with the Global audit standards and the 3 Lines. We’ve tested it with several CAEs, and the results are very positive insofar as they demonstrate alignment with audit scope, quality, and scope, and the Global Audit standards and their main principles.
Beyond Control design and effectiveness, we are integrating risk management to facilitate ERM from inherent through residual risk.
We have some way to go. But the results are very encouraging.
