It’s time we followed the EU and the US. Make cyber a contractual requirement, as is being driven by the US DoD across the global Defence Industry, or impose civil and criminal penalties for compliance, as we see with the EU and NIS 2.
We’ve recently seen Beazley announce it is pulling back from cyber insurance. What will that mean for boards, who have historically relied on cyber insurance as the risk transfer tool of choice?
