One company, One Hack, major consequences.

One company, One Hack, major consequences. The consequences of the JLR (Jaguar Land Rover Hack) Bryan Foss are difficult to calculate. But one can see that the JLR supply chain has been affected; it’s caused undue stress to 1,000s of people across JLRs connected supply chains, and as is reported here, resulted in UK manufacturing activity falling to a 5-month low.

What’s worrying is that one supplier can have such a significant impact on UK manufacturing output. That probably says more about the fragility of UK manufacturing than needs saying. All initiated by a single cyber attack. Go Cyber Essentials.

Will the UK recognise that partner nations have got it right and made boards accountable for cybersecurity?

As adequately demonstrated, cyber is a national and economic risk.
