The US Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) and Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets(AFM) have fined the Dutch Affiliates of Deloitte, PWC and EY for violating US auditing rules and quality control standards related to internal exam cheating between 2018 and 2022. A case that followed on from the cases bought against the US audit firms and by a variety of regulators across Canada, Australia and China for exam cheating.
