The M&S cyber attack has been an eye opener for UK industry. Whilst no news can sometimes be good news, there’s a time when no news creates uncertainty, concern and worry. Especially given the 3 week lag. The M&S hack is turning into an eyeopener for the financial markets as the M&S share price continues to take a tumble, dropping 3.5% in early trading today (12:15pm), and down by 17% since the start of the hack. By my reconning M&S has lost about £1.2 billion (15%) in market cap since the start of the attack on April 21st.The cost of cyber compliance is always less than the costs associated with a cyber attack.https://lnkd.in/eNW6yvW4@Thaddeus Dziekanowski Brian D.
