Irrespective of the real benefits of AI that investors are struggling to see at present, AI is here, and its got a seat at the board table, and its going to make significant changes to society and economic growth.The power of AI is significant, its transformational, it has the potential to make pivotal economic and social change and its power is undisputed. But should those that are controlling its development en-large, companies such as Open AI, Anthropic, Microsoft, Google, and DeepSeek, and investors be considering their role in society and their own ethical development and delivery of AI to wider society? As they are provide the foundational LLMs that the rest of society in general use.Seems that there’s a fight brewing entrepreneurs, investors and government about the corporate structures being put in place by AI start-ups and more mature AI developers. With concerns being raised abut self imposed legal constraints that governments and wider society should be considering for the oversight, management and control of such a powerful technology.
