The enclosed audit of the five federal departments implementation of the Office of Personnel Managements Cybersecurity Workforce Practices. Published on the 16.01.2025 by the US GAO is an important read for baselining current standards.’Most of the departments audited had not fully implemented all 15 practices, due, in part, to managing their cybersecurity workforces at the component level rather than the departmental level, as intended by OPM. Whilst mitigating actions were identified, none of the departments had taken steps to evaluate the effectiveness of the actions.@Thaddeus DziekanowskiVeritas GRC US Government Accountability Office#cybersecurity #cyberriskmanagement #cyberworkforce
