There’s little doubt that cybersecurity has a few problems, least of all adoption, resourcing and funding. With the backdrop of increases in geopolitical threats that are in part driving cyber attack frequency, complexity and severity.The old adage that unless you understand a problem you cannot manage it, is a truism that applies to cybersecurity. The most significant change that can take place for cybersecurity can only come when public and private sector boards address their gap in cybersecuirty knowledge, so that they can understand the problem. Several reports have come out in the past month from the cyber insurance industry, highlighting some of the challenge the industry faces.
