There are plenty of upsides from AI, once we get the business cases sorted out to demonstrate its return on investment. A return that may not be to clear financially just yet, but one that industry seems to be focused on, even if its not in the short term.

One problem is going to be power, much the same as crypton mining (its power hungry), data centers will need copious amount of energy to enable the vast amounts of computational power AI needs to reference, cross reference and resolve those complex questions as best it can.
