What is happening to the cybersecurity sector? One is trying to understand why are we seeing such turbulence across the whole cybersecurity eco system. At a time when cybersecurity is the most significant risk sitting at the board table?
There is a need to consolidate the market, there are to many products offering solutions to problems most clients do not understand. Cyber regulation is complicating the market further as both customer and suppliers, trying to work out the extent and effects of regulation on their balance sheets. At a time when cyber attack frequency, complexity and severity are showing no signs of backing off.
One expects security products to address two questions.
1. Will your product enable me to comply with cybersecurity risk management regulation? Demonstrate it will.
2. How can you assure your product security?
If you cannot answer this simple question then why do I need you?
