UK and Australian export laws do not meet the standards expected by the U.S under the AUKUS partnership. Whose success requires the integration of disparate industrial, regulatory, security and trade frameworks, as well as development, production and fielding of high-tech military equipment. UK and Australia has 120 days to rectify the situation ahead of a follow on assessment.
One suspects all sides will have to come to agreements on how they will secure sensitive defense information. Align their export control regulations and help to ensure the security of information and technology that will be shared amongst all three countries.
