It’s always been the golden rule to stay clear of using FUD to sell cybersecurity. So one has always tried to not use it. But one sees more and more concern raised about cyber attacks, national security and the effect of cyber on our critical Infrastructure.

This article expresses the challenges we face in managing a cybersecurity problem. A problem that exists between the public and private sector. One of our reliance on the private sector to deliver CNI and the conflict between corporate culture, profit and national security.

One often hears that we need to manage cybersecurity risk, but one NEVER here’s anyone saying HOW? A problem that needs resolution if we are to enable, force and enforce the management of cybersecurity risk.
