Call us now:
So there I am driving down the road minding my own business, in my Internet enabled, hyper connected car.
One wonders if my first thought would be, those pesky hackers may compromise my mobile phone or my pride and joy, and steel my personal data?
One wonders if my first thought maybe, what if a hacker were able to take over my vehicle and do something more exciting like compromise the ADAS, shut it down, apply the brakes or bugger up the vehicle management system.(https://lnkd.in/e4VAwQXB).
If I’m an OEM, I maybe concerned that the third party software developer who writes the code for my vehicle management system has been compromised; or the cloud platform that tracks vehicle connectivity; or the one that deploys direct to vehicle updates, that carries the compromised 3rd part software update has been compromised?
One wonders Gerry Kennedy if the cost to the Insurance industry maybe greater than the loss of PII?
