There were claims made in December 2023 that Russian and Chinese hackers had compromised the Sellafield Nuclear site in the UK. While there have not been proven, the Nuclear industry regulator, the Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) is prosecuting Sellafield Ltd for Information Technology security offences during a four year period between 2019 and early 2023. AKA breaches in cybersecurity.

While little is yet known about the charges. One does wonder what breaches occurred over the 4 year period and if these did lead to nation state threat actors gaining access to UK nuclear sites. (https://lnkd.in/e_5nPNkz)
