Thank you Chris Burt, it was a pleasure to present to the Risk Coalition community on the changing face of cyber regulation. Its effects on risk transfer and the legal and risk challenges that cyber regulation brings to the board room. As cyber regulation requires boards, subcommittees and accountable executive demonstrate their oversight, assurance and attestation of cyber risk.

With increased risks of individual and corporate civil and criminal penalties, cyber regulation is starting to focus boards on regulatory compliance. As regulators and market participants such as investors, insurance companies and credit rating agencies focus on the role of the board in managing cyber risk.
