The role of the European Unions Cyber Security Agency ENISA is under review, as the EU Commission is seeking feedback from industry and national governments on its functioning.

The article highlights some of the challenges that ENISA and EU has had to content over the introduction of the blocks Cyber Security Act (CSA), a voluntary scheme for ICT vendors to demonstrate their cybersecurity. (https://lnkd.in/eUKtsY_N)

The EU executive is considering whether ENISA has achieved leadership as a center of expertise on cybersecurity over the past four years, whether it gives enough guidance to member states, and if its size is adequate for the work entrusted to it. All reasonable questions to be asked to ensure that the EU cyber strategy is on track.

One wrote of the need to harmonise cybersecurity standards between the U.S and EU in 2022 and the adoption of the existing Common Criteria framework. As a solution to evaluate product cybersecurity, create common baseline protection profiles for information types, and enable harmonisation of cybersecuirty. Whether between the EU and U.S, or across the EU.(https://lnkd.in/enfYu2nz)
