Thank you for sharing Ted Dziekanowski. The U.S initiative to improve the coordination of cybersecurity continues. An initiative the State Department has been working on to address international cybersecurity relationships through Ambassador at Large Nathaniel Fick. It therefore makes sense that the FBI embeds trained staff in U.S embassies to support the coordination of cybersecurity.
Now cyber regulation is starting to find its way out of the U.S, effecting companies trading in and with the U.S. Working in country and putting boots on the ground expands the eyes and ears of U.S Federal Government and increases Federal reach.
One wonders if the State Department will move towards Cyber attaché’s, siting along side the Defense attaché to complement the physical with the logical for National Security?
