Fidelity National Financial (FNF) yesterday filed a Form 8K with the SEC, reporting it is aware of a cyber incident impacting certain FNF systems. Blocking access to systems and disrupting the business and effecting its title insurance, escrow, mortgage transactions and real estate and mortgage industry.
FNF is a providers of ‘Title’ insurance delivered through a insurance underwriters, it also retains 85% ownership stake in F&G annuities and life. recently announcing its intention to invest $250million in F&G this month.
While little is known about the attack., the hack comes at the start of U.S Thanks Giving.
