If remotely true, this is a concern. As UK partners are moving ahead with cyber regulation that has a direct effect on market participation and trade. In simple language if for example you are a covered entity and cannot comply with U.S SEC cyber regulations, or those coming from the EU then you are buggered. Both jurisdictions are ramping cyber compliance that effects organisation that trade with and in those markets.

One hopes that this is just a case of board communications and engagement. Once there is clarity and ownership boards will be able to make a decision on their organizations, and in some cases personal liabilities. Where once cyber was a FUD debate, it is no longer.
