The New York Governor Kathy Hochul has ear marked over $600m for investment in the states first-ever statewide cyber strategy and unify cybersecurity services. The strategy offers up 5 pillars that includes network resilience, regulation of critical industries, improved collaboration, growing the cyber workforce and improved cyber communications.
The level of funding announced goes a way to demonstrate how serious the state is in addressing its cybersecurity. That one expects are not dis-similar to those faced by other U.S states.
