A vast majority of UK organizations do not use Cyber Essentials. At a time when UK partner nations are regulating cybersecurity, by example the recent confirmation by the SEC, finalizing cybersecurity risk management of public firms, that includes Foreign issuers, listed on U.S markets.
The UK appears to be struggling to address cybersecuirty risk management in line with the approach its partners are taking, with respect regulation and the private sector. Regulation that will affect the UK and international trade. We reported several months ago that there is a very significant gap between the number of companies that have cyber essentials and those that do not. And the value that cyber essentials brings in light of other cyber regulation.
