Cyber attacks on power infrastructure from domestic and international threat actors, presents a risk to U.S national security.

In a statement reminiscent
to that made by Chris Inglis, the first U.S National Cyber Director ONCD. ‘We need to move to a whole of society approach to managing cyber security.’ Through a risk based approach.

The most important evolving threat to the electric grid is associated with cybersecurity and physical security,€ the House Energy & Commerce subcommittee on oversight and investigations
were informed last week.

A problem that will get worst as the U.S moves towards renewable energy and electrification of transportation.

China and domestic threat actors are almost certainly capable of launching cyber attacks that could disrupt critical infrastructure services nationwide, including the power grid.
