We are waiting for the DoD and U.S Federal Government to release DFARS 252.204-7021 formally and FAR part 32 and DFARS part 48. In response to the extended time line for CMMC the DoD has released the enclosed 2 page fact sheet to support DIB members in compliance to NIST SP 800-171.

One is not sure if international DIB members can use these services. But DIB contractors outside of the U.S should be seeking clarity as to the expectations of the DoD, specifically their Procurement Officers, as to the expectations of compliance and how the DoD will oversight the international DIB.

Unless program dispensation or reciprocity can be achieved, compliance will likely be required. Many people I speak to in the U.S are clear covered U.S regulatory compliance and oversight applies internationally. One must not forget that the SEC cyber proposal will apply to U.S listed defense primes.
