U.S regulators shut down the New York based Signature Bank yesterday in a sign that the crypto industry is struggling and regulators are focused on preventing liquidity problems. Being one of the biggest lenders to the crypto industry it is a demonstration of the financial problems the industry faces and the challenges ahead for banking regulators.

Closing a bank is a significant action, but with the recent issues faced by Silicon Valley Bank one wonders if there is a connection? It appears that bond and equity holders at Signature bank will be left to address lossess. With depositors being able to access funds.
