Call us now:
I’m yet to find anyone who can give me an answer to an interesting yet simple question. It’s a question that goes to the heart of the cybersecurity solutions market; to cyber insurance profitability; cyber regulation and compliance; civil and criminal convictions that ultimately a question that the boards of public and private sector organisations will have to address.
One agrees that cyber is heading towards a golden age. There is finally recognition of cyber as an issue that needs to be addressed. But as the investment community is finding ‘multiples’ on their cyber investments are not as predicted, as cyber companies struggle with market penetration.
Oh the question – ‘How do we manage and deliver cyber security?’ We seem to now have most for the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle in place. Yet the frequency, severity and complexity of cyber in increasing and I do not see solutions out there that address the delivery problem by any measure.
If regulation goes as planned then boards will look for cyber solutions. Technology won’t be the answer, solving the cyber problem requires a combined technology, insurance, risk, legal, oversight and cultural solution. That’s where the silver lining lies and investors capitalize.
