New York based attorneys will dip their toes in the waters of cybersecurity education. They will be required to complete one Continuing Legal Education credit (CLE) of cybersecurity, privacy and data protection training. Yes ‘1 hour’, and one suspects its not aimed at the cyber practice, but its start and demonstrates the New York Bar has a focus on cyber given the potential exposure lawyer have to cyber attacks and the protection of client data.
