It comes as a surprise given the global cybersecurity challenges that there are layoffs. Requirements for cybersecurity are increasing with the backdrop of increased U.S and EU regulation only increasing the need for more skilled cyber resources.
There is so much to do with so little talent, U.S DoD regulations impact UK, EU and APAC defense contractors and proposed U.S and EU cyber regulations will require public firms and CNI providers to focus on cyber at risk of regulatory enforcement.
The ONCD is moving toward defensive cyber that will likely require a concerted effort to address cybersecurity defenses across Small, Medium and Large companies in the U.S. With a tendency to influence cyber regulation outside the U.S, given the National Security Implications.
