Thanks for sharing Ted Dziekanowski. It helps shed some light on the increased oversight and enforcement by the SEC on covered entities. It is of no surprise that I am interested in the approach that the SEC may take on cybersecurity regulation and enforcement. 2021 and 2022 has set a direction of travel for the SEC in enforcement of both crypto and cyber. That one expects to continue, given the challenges that public and private sector organizations face with delivering cybersecurity. With the consequences to critical infrastructure including financial institutions, if there is a cyber attack of sufficient size and impact.

The SECs plans to grow its enforcement division and the payments to Whistleblowers maybe a warning of what is to come.
