The regulatory agenda for cybersecurity risk management is developing as are the roles of the cyber, legal and risk professional in regulatory compliance. Providing oversight and assurance of cybersecurity risk management to the board room and in turn regulators. That plan to take a more active role in testing (DORA) and regulatory enforcement (SEC and DoJ).

The challenge and opportunity for all compliance professionals will be the alignment of corporate cybersecurity risks and compliance with the principles based regulators.
