A great read providing a comprehensive view on how NATOs role in Cybersecurity has developed since it became a domain of operation and what the future role could look like. For example NATO setting up its own cyber command; greater coordination between Nation states; the effective use of cyber ranges; increasing the number skilled resources; bringing together military CERTS on incident response.

What I don’t see is how to cross the gap between military and civil cyber. Unlike conventional domains of operation, cyber crosses the divide. As we have seen with actions by hackers, who have actively targeted commercial enterprise during the Ukraine Russian crisis. Offensive military and defensive cyber needs to be matched with civil and commercial defensive cyber. As seen by the US shields up program.
