Israeli supply chain companies are currently undergoing cyber attack in what maybe a retaliation for what was reported to be an attack on Iranian Uranium enrichment capacity in April 2021 blamed on Israel. It is the second time Israeli supply chain companies have been targeted in the past 6 months. In the recent attack two companies Veritas a logistics company and retailer Match are reported impacted with a significant amount of data compromised. But rather than ransomware data was corrupted.

Supply chains are fragile, an efficient and effective way to disrupt the delivery of products and services is to target the companies within the supply chain. Companies which rely heavily on technology and are lighter on cyber security. Albeit Israel is deploying a robust national cyber defence strategy.

Both countries are upping their geopolitical cyber posture.
