A term I have not come across, a ‘data spillage’. A term used to allow personal data to be accessed in an environment to which it was not intended, by mistake, poor configuration or coding. But not by an unauthorised person?

A bit like any data loss, but easier on the ear? Where the data controller who is responsible for managing personal data doesn’t implement appropriate measures to ensure the risk is managed? GDPR article 32 (d)
