Globalisation has bought many opportunities.

Globalisation has bought many opportunities. Reduced costs, time to market and centralised natural resource processing. But it has also created complex and interconnected supply chains, ones which maybe difficult to unwind anytime soon.

The US has been taking a fresh look at its supply chains to protect IP and remove dependencies, seeking to bring product and service processing back on shore. But with reports that a key mandate from Congress related to the supply chain which was supposed to take effect last week (Section 889 (a)(1)(b) of the 2019 National Defense Authorization Act), may have been pushed back to September 30th. Identifying who makes what and where, maybe more difficult than originally proposed?

Thanks Bill Nelson for the article.
