Thanks for sharing Jerry, it brings home the costs of non-compliance and the figures are significant. Someone has to pay for it somewhere, usually the consumer.

CMMC is an opportunity to embed cyber security best practice into the supply chain. Your post highlights the potential costs for those who do not comply or mislead the compliance process. Money which could be spent on compliance. To quote a recent statement made to me, for the Justice department it is like ‘shooting fish in a barrel’, which the fines in the report clearly show.
