Well worth a read. Closing the knowledge, governance and oversight gap for cyber at the board table is an issue which needs to be addressed.

I’m not necessarily convinced with the questions, but I am convinced about the sentiment. Cyber is an expensive enterprise wide risk to manage, impacting both top and bottom line. As has been proven this week with the ruling by US courts on Equifax.

Boards need to have in place the appropriate governance structures, ask the right questions and provide appropriate oversight.

Get it right now, as the threats will increase and the regulatory environment develop accordingly.
