Things are not all be as they seem to be with cyber insurance. Cyber is a very complicated enterprise wide risk and not all policies cover all aspects of cyber related attacks, frauds and subsequent costs.

When it comes down to the interpretation of the law and insurance it is clear that cyber, being a relatively new insurance class. Raised a questions when it comes to the interpretation of coverage. This relatively new insurance class, associated complexity and coverage are being assessed through case-law and judicial review by the courts.

So buyer beware for the time being. This is may take some time to clarify.
