Call us now:
AI is for good and for bad, and AI can be persuaded to do both if you ask it nicely and in the right way. The best thing is that the average 15-year-old can use it, and with the average age of a board member of a listed company being +60; their technological literacy being closer to zero than that of the average 15-year-old, and their understanding of AI and cyber governance being less than adequate. The outcome is predictable: AI weaponizes cybersecurity, a capability that is already poorly governed. On a positive note, I keep being told that board members are good at managing risk, it’s their fiduciary responsibility.
Earlier this year, Amazon discovered that a low-skilled hacker used commercially available AI to breach 600 firewalls. Another took control of thousands of DJI robot vacuums with help from Claude, and was able to access live video feed, audio, and floor plans of strangers.
Just wait until AI gets really good……..
