Let’s stitch a few things together from Chris Cooper post and a post from X https://lnkd.in/eZAsFKiM about the possibility to hack Moltbot, Discord AIs platform, and security. If correct, then in both cases, Moltbot and Discord were opened up using an SVG file.
In both cases, the malicious payload in the uploaded SVG, in both cases the white hat demonstrated the easy by which the platform can be compromised, and in both cases the platforms are used by 1,000s of users globally.
Both posts highlight the simplicity with which the platforms can be compromised to expose sensitive data. How will the insurance industry react?
