Have recent cyberattacks woken up the UK government to the threat of cyberattacks on the UK economy? The UK has lagged behind most of its partners in its approach to cybersecurity risk management, and the a need for the UK and UK industry to adopt a defensive cyber strategy and posture.

The UK requires a cyber strategy and program to support the UK industry in managing cyber risk for years. It’s allies several more years of knowledge and experience.

The UK is on the top 5 hit list for most hackers, and the UK industry is way behind its allies in cybersecurity risk management preparedness. To close the gap, the UK must address the same challenges its partners face in developing a robust cyber strategy with the same or higher levels of oversight and assurance afforded by EU, US, and APAC regulators. If it wants to address the threat cyber poses to national security.
