Most organisations do not understand the true cost of cybersecurity. Recent cyberattacks such as Marks and Spencer, JLR and the attack that affected Heathrow airport all demonstrate the depth and breadth of cyberattacks on UK companies and society. These incur costs that are often not accounted for, as they are too hard to calculate.
Wouldn’t it be appropriate to ensure that the UK public and private sector has appropriate defensive cyber strategies and plans to manage cybersecurity and save us all money?
